This particular position will involve a lot of problem solving, communication, and follow-through. Additionally, you’ll need excellent written and verbal communication skills, a can-do attitude, ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, ability to quickly learn new concepts, business savvy, strong computer skills, and willingness to study independently and pass two insurance licensing exams within 6 months of hire. (This is not a sales job but we do need our employees to be licensed in property and casualty insurance so they can advise our clients.) Passing a background check will be required. A college degree is preferred but not required.
What’s the job like? You will provide service to our commercial insurance clients and be part of a five-person core team. You will support two Account Managers, each of whom work with one Risk Advisor (Agent). Your responsibilities will include reviewing insurance documents for accuracy, handling change requests, reviewing contracts, preparing proofs of insurance, communicating with clients and underwriters, and lots more, and all with speedy, friendly responsiveness. For someone without experience, there will be a steep learning curve but we’ll be here to support you the whole way. For someone with insurance experience, there will still be a learning curve as you get the hang of our procedures, values, and priorities. We guarantee you’ve never worked for an agency like ours!
